Get Involved

We get asked often ‘how can I help Sage Garden Project?’ Here are a few ways that you can volunteer and be a part of what we’re doing!

Writing

Have a gift for writing? Assist a school by applying for grants on their behalf.

Building & Repairing

Know how to build and repair stuff? We love someone who’s handy! There’s always a need for this in the garden.

Garden Support

Volunteer to weed at one of our school gardens! There’s always plenty of this task to go around.

Cooking Support

Help prep or wash dishes after a cooking class at one of our schools.

Thanks to the generous support of Sprouts Healthy Communities since 2019, Sage Garden Project has been able to expand and deepen the impact of Edible Education for elementary school students in California. To date they have helped provide fully-stocked, mobile cooking carts to over 30 schools and awarded Sprouts gift cards to supplement fresh food for cooking classes in all Sage funded schools.
