MISSION

Our department leverages broad expertise in biomedical engineering, foundational mechanics, and sciences to solve significant health and technological challenges through cutting edge research, strategic partnerships, and educating students to be critical thinkers, ethical innovators and leaders.

Our Programs

With a focus on high-impact educational practices, BEAM students in both graduate and undergraduate programs have access to a variety of hands-on learning experiences. Opportunities include research alongside program faculty, access to internships, and a focus on entrepreneurial practices – among others.
