Camus® Hydronics, a well-respected manufacturer of high-efficiency gas boilers and water heaters has partnered with Goodway® Technologies to offer customers a safe, effective descaling solution so their equipment remains in peak operating conditions.

Camus® high-efficiency boilers can be found in commercial, institutional and industrial applications. Whether it’s a hotel, office building, university or industrial manufacturing plant, when hot water or hydronic heat is needed, Camus has the equipment.

The efficiencies are certified by AHRI. The higher the efficiency, the lower the operating costs. Preventative maintenance is an integral part of any water operated piece of equipment’s efficient operation.

In boilers and water heaters, mineral deposits within the water supply can fall out of suspension and create an insulating barrier, in the form of scale, between the water and heat exchanger. This scale barrier also reduces the efficiency of the boiler resulting in higher gas or propane consumption.

The damage done by scale is not limited to reduced efficiency. A primary cause of premature heat exchanger failure is scale. Scale reduces flow and heat transfer within the appliance to the point of causing material failure.

In response to customer needs, Camus® recognized a need for an approved, safe, effective descaling solution for removing hard water scale deposits, maintaining high efficiencies and reducing premature vessel and tube failures.

Goodway® Technologies ScaleBreak®- MP is a unique blend of citric acid with the inclusion of corrosion inhibitors, wetting and penetrating agents. It offers excellent cleaning results and speed without compromising the long-term integrity of boiler base metals. This biodegradable descaling solution will safely dissolve scale deposits into a liquid suspension and allow them to be flushed out of the boiler.

Optimal cleaning results are achieved when you pump ScaleBreak®- MP into the bottom of your boiler and return out the top. This method ensures the area to be cleaned is flooded, allowing the ScaleBreak®- MP to come in contact with all the deposits.
