Organizers are holding pro-impeachment rallies nationwide on the eve of the planned House vote to impeach President Donald Trump.

Over 100,000 people across the country are participating in the “Nobody Is Above the Law” events.

In Syracuse, organizers say that about 300 people showed up to the rally outside of the federal office building.

One of the Rally Organizers, Jonah Minkoff-Zern, says, "We are outraged that our president used military aid to pressure a foreign government to interfere in our elections. No president, Republican or Democrat, can be allowed to do that and stay off, it’s an extraordinary abuse of power."

Organizers say the rally in Syracuse was just one of many rallies across the country, where hundreds of thousands of people nationally took to the streets to protest.

Donna Oppedisano, a high school teacher, says, "Impeachment is the remedy that the founders put together in order to address exactly situations like this when a president abuses his power."

Brandon Mark Sternburg attended the rally and says, "This is a really important issue, this is one of those things where this is the constitution were talking about, this is our ethical standards as a country."

Although most of those who attended the rally were pro impeachment, a few showed up in support of the president.

We also found people opposed to the impeachment in a diner in Chittenango in Madison County.

Jim MacDowell, from Chittenango, says, "Do I agree with everything Mr. Trump has done? Probably not, but this country is in an awful way. Other countries are laughing at us for what we’re going through."

One man told us, all the impeachment debate did nothing to change his vote.

Karl Gates, from Madison County, says, "Our president is a loud-mouthed SOB and I knew that before I voted for him and I'll vote again."

The Associated Press says that an expected vote tally indicates that President Trump will be the third president ever impeached in U.S. history.
