We had an outstanding week at the Society of American Military Engineers Joint Engineer Training Conference & Expo in Orlando, working with clients and colleagues across the AEG industry. As Vice President Darius Hensley, PS noted, “I made several new connections that may lead to potential work with new clients. Always nice to connect with some of our current business partners to foster those relationships and discuss future work opportunities.” Great work by all involved! #federal #architecture #engineering #geospatial #consulting #AEG Shawn Moore Wayne Kinsel, PMP Robert A. “The city has experienced overflows in some areas, and this investigation will help identify problem areas and what is causing these issues,” SRB Project Manager Amanda Way, P.E. said. “The cleaning will help remove years of dirt, grease, and debris that have gotten into the system, while smoke testing will help identify where there may be leaks that allow for inflow into the system.” #infrastructure #water #wastewatermanagement Carla Muscarella Lindsey Wolanczyk Smith Roberts Baldischwiler, LLC (SRB)

Cool article in The Nome Nugget, Alaska's oldest newspaper, on underwater mapping we conducted around Nome for NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration to support the city's port expansion. "We wanted to make sure that we have good data to respond to that increased traffic and that construction project," said Lieutenant Caroline A. Wilkinson, the regional navigation manager for Alaska with NOAA Coast Survey. "Even though we did not find any surprises or dangers to navigation, collecting up to date digital depth and feature data is important to ensure safe navigation in the region."
