CROSS COUNTRY: Collected Academic All-GLVC honors...competed in two meets, but did not compete at the GLVC Championships.
INDOOR TRACK & FIELD: Appeared in a pair of meets during the indoor season, competing in the 400 meters as well as on USI's distance medley relay team.
OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD: Advanced to the finals in the 800 meters at the GLVC Championships, where he registered a seventh-place finish...also helped USI's 4x400-meter relay team to a 12th-place showing at the league meet...in addition to the 800 meters and 4x400-meter relay, Macias saw action in the 1,500 meters as well as the 5,000 meters during the outdoor season...garnered Academic All-GLVC laurels.
2019-20
CROSS COUNTRY: Did not compete...earned Academic All-GLVC honors.
INDOOR TRACK & FIELD: Collected Academic All-GLVC honors after competing in the Don DeNoon Invitational for USI where he finished seventh in the mile.
2018-19
CROSS COUNTRY: Garnered Academic All-GLVC accolades after finishing 105th at the GLVC Championships...competed in four meets during the cross country season.
INDOOR TRACK & FIELD: Scored a seventh-place finish in the 800 meters at the GLVC Championships, while assisting USI's 4x400-meter relay team to an eighth-place finish at the league meet...appeared in seven meets, competing in the 400 meters, 600 meters, 800 meters and the 4x400-meter relay.
OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD: Helped USI's 4x400-meter relay team to a fifth-place finish at the GLVC Championships, while finishing 13th in the 1,500 meters at the league meet...also raced in the 800 meters during the outdoor campaign, where he appeared in six meets...earned Academic All-GLVC.
2017-18
CROSS COUNTRY: Collected Academic All-GLVC honors after competing in four meets and finishing 107th at the GLVC Championships.
INDOOR TRACK & FIELD: Participated in the 600 meters, 800 meters, 4x400-meter relay and the distance medley relay during the indoor season...helped USI to a ninth-place showing in the 4x400 at the GLVC Championships.
OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD: Competed in the 800 meters as well as the 4x400-meter relay...helped the Eagles to an eighth-place finish in the 4x400 at the GLVC Championships...earned Academic All-GLVC honors.
HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from Alton High School in Alton, Illinois, where he finished 11th at the IHSA Quincy Regional as a senior in 2016...helped AHS to a 21st-place finish in the 4x800-meters at the 2017 IHSA Class 3A Track & Field Championships.
