Jessica Alba has had three children over the past 10 years—and as such, she's had ample time to form an opinion on many parenting gadgets.

The actress, 37, who is mom to Honor, 10, Haven, six, and Hayes, five months old, detailed her favorite tools in a new video for InStyle, from the maternity bra she finds pretty enough for a 'romantic night' to the waist cincher she puts on 'the second' after giving birth.

She began by wondering aloud why, when given the choice, someone would opt to pump manually, asking: 'Why? Why? There's machines now. Why would you do it manually?'

Jessica mimed the process of pumping by hand, adding: 'I mean, just imagine this for 45 minutes.'

In addition to pumping with a machine, the actress likes to have her hands free durig the process, which is why she has become a fan of a specific pumping bra.

Many different brands offer the bras, which wrap around the waist and make it possible to hook the machine to them for a hands-free pumping experience.

Jessica's personal pick is Lansinoh's pumping bra, which retails for $34.99.

'Not all of us hand-pump. I hate hand-pumping. I like the machine. But if you have to pump, you see, it's like a whole situation. If you don't have a bra, your hands are not free,' she said before putting on the bra on top of her clothes.

'But if you have this guy... So many things are so possible now. You can do your nails, you can look at Instagram, you can cuddle your baby.'

Next, Jessica, who appears on the cover of InStyle's July issue, introduced her 'best friend and worst enemy' to the camera: a $48 waist cincher by Spanx.

'It's a girdle, or like, a tummy tamer. I wear these pretty much the second after my children come out of me,' she said. 'You can get a size large and then go down in size depending on your desired waist size. I love these bad boys and I wear them all the time.'

In a completely different category, Jessica revealed she is a fan of a $15.99 gadget called the Nose Frida, which enables parents to clear their babies' congested noses by sucking out the mucus.

Many brands offer similar nasal aspirators, although Jessica pointed out that by the time they have three children, parents might find themselves bold enough to forego the gizmos altogether.

'By kid three you're just like siphoning boogies into your mouth, but kid one, you use something called the Nose Frida,' she said. 'You stick this little device inside their nose hole and you suck and it pulls out those pesky little boogers.'

As a worried parent, the actress has also come to rely on a $299.99 machine called the Owlet smart sock, meant to monitor a baby's heartbeat and oxygen level.

She revealed that until welcoming her youngest child Hayes, she would go to listen to her babies breathing, 'sometimes every hour'—a task presumably relieved by the gadget.

The Lively maternity bralette, which retails at $35, doubles as a nursing bra, but, Jessica said while trying one on, is still 'cute enough to wear in front of the hubs, if you want to have a little romantic night'.

Lastly, the actress showed off her favorite diaper bag, which she said she designed for The Honest Company.

The bag, retailing for $146.99, looks like a regular backpack—a key feature for Jessica.

What I've learned over the years is it's best to have a gender-neutral diaper bag so your husband doesn't try to pack his own diaper bag and pack all the wrong stuff,' she explained.

'I love this diaper bag that I did design, and my husband will actually wear this.'

On Saturday, Jessica celebrated her son Haye's five-month birthday in a sweet Instagram post.

'I mean... my sweet chunky monkey. He’s getting SO big! Not sure he’ll fit the blanket that much longer,' she captioned the images of her diaper-clad little boy.

Hayes is Jessica's third child with her  husband Cash Warren, 39. Prior to Hayes' birth, Alba revealed to Extra that she's capping it at three.

'I'm done,' she said laughing. 'Three is good.'
