During Hangout Fest, Travis Scott announced that all his merch sales would be donated to Planned Parenthood.

“I wanna just donate my net profits from our merch today to Planned Parenthood,” he said during his set, adding, “I love y’all and I just want everyone to know that love is the strongest thing we can have,” before performing SZA’s song “Love Galore.”

Our Generation Music shared clips from the festival on Instagram, with Kylie Jenner also liking the post.

Many have denounced the anti-abortion laws that have passed in Alabama and Missouri. On Saturday, Offset publicly condemned House Bill 314, also known as the Alabama Human Life Protection Act, comparing it to slavery.

“New laws is slavory [sic],” he wrote in a since-deleted tweet. “To force a rape victim to keep a child is SLAVORY IM NOT PROUD TO SAY IM FROM AMERICA!!!”

Other celebrities have expressed outrage, including Lady Gaga, Kylie Jenner, Rihanna, Chris Evans, John Legend, and more.

Alabama Governor Kay Ivey signed the nation's most restrictive abortion bill into state law on Wednesday, and on Thursday, the Missouri Senate followed suit. The Republican-led chamber passed a bill that would ban abortions eight weeks into a woman's pregnancy—a point at which many women don't know they're pregnant.

The shifted ideological balance on the Supreme Court has emboldened anti-abortion politicians and organizations to rally behind laws that threaten Roe v. Wade. The Missouri bill, which still needs to pass the Republican-controlled House, allows exceptions for pregnant women facing medical emergencies, not including rape or incest. The Alabama law contains similar provisions.
