Virtualization for Industrial Workstations

This class will cover the foundations of using FactoryTalk View Studio Machine Edition to program a PanelView Plus 7 terminal. Students will learn to configure communications with Logix Programmable Controllers, configure project settings, create and edit displays, create tags, browse controller tags, global objects, global connections, trending, data logging, alarms, and animations. Basic Logix 5000 knowledge is preferred but not required. No FactoryTalk View Studio experience is required. All Visualization Intro material is included in the Visualization Foundations class. Lunch Provided.
