Logix PID & PIDE

The Logix PID and PIDE class will expose the student to the concept of PID (proportional, integral, derivative) control of a loop. The student will then build a working PID instruction in ladder and a PIDE in Function Block to control a pump and tank level simulator in code. We will also use the Studio 5000 Logic Designer trend to monitor the loops. Finally, we will apply the Rockwell faceplate to the PID and PIDE instructions. Familiarity with Logix 5000 is preferred.
