AICPA Legacy Scholars

Get to know the future leaders of the accounting industry. The AICPA Legacy Scholars program is designed to help students of different backgrounds become CPAs by assisting with the cost of their college education. The program also provides scholars with educational and professional development opportunities throughout the year.

The 2024-25 AICPA Legacy Scholarships application period is now closed. They will open again on December 1, 2024.

$3,000 - $10,000

AICPA Foundation Scholarship for Future CPAs

This scholarship award provides financial assistance to undergraduate or graduate degree students interested in pursuing the CPA license after graduation. Recipients will be considered based on their overall potential and commitment to becoming licensed CPA professionals after graduation. Applicants must be enrolled as full-time students and be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

AICPA Scholarship for Minority Accounting Students

This scholarship provides financial awards to full-time minority students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting or an accounting-related major. Applicants must have a GPA of at least a 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

AICPA Foundation Two-year Transfer Scholarship

This scholarship award is available to students looking to transfer from a two-year college to a four-year institution to complete their degree in accounting or an accounting-related field. Applicants must have a GPA of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

This scholarship award provides financial assistance to liberal arts and non-business undergraduate degree holders who are pursuing both graduate studies in accounting and CPA licensure. Applicants must be enrolled as a full-time graduate student and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
