1. It’s hard to believe that RBG has been gone for an entire year. But even in her absence, she continues to inspire people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds to fight for a more equal and just society. In the past year, so many artists from around the world have honored her memory, so here are a few of our favorites. As always, the fight continues.

  2. On RBG’s first birthday since her passing, help keep her spirit and legacy alive. Sponsor a child at SOS Children’s Villages USA, a charity she favored, and help give all children a chance to become the next great trailblazers. Visit to Donate www.sos-usa.org/donate

  4. Today would have been RBG’s 88th birthday. Although she is often cited for her views against anger as an emotion, when asked in 1973 about more militant activists in the feminist movement, she said, “if there had not been these angry women, we wouldn’t be at the point where we are today.” Every person has a role to play in changing the world for the better. May we all continue to fight for the world we wish to see, in RBG’s honor. Happy birthday, RBG.

  5. #NotoriousRBG crew, introducing our pop-up collaboration with NotOnRuthsWatch.org: We’re mobilizing for a national day of targeted digital action on Oct. 21 to save Ruth’s seat. Their strategy harnesses Judiciary Committee procedure but needs OUR people power!

Let’s spread the word so the 3 Republican senators who decide the vote can hear: “On the Oct. 22 Committee vote, save Ruth’s seat or we’ll take yours.” Action rolls out tomorrow!!

Tell your friends – no need to despair, this strategy *can* help save Ruth’s seat!

  6. In her oral dissent to the Supreme Court’s majority opinion invalidating a key provision of the Voting Rights Act, RBG quoted a familiar MLK Jr. line, but added her own coda. “‘The arc of the universe is long, but it bends toward justice,’” but only “if there is a steadfast commitment to see the task through to completion.”

RBG spent her life pushing to bend the arc. It is now upon all of us.

May her memory be a blessing, and a revolution.

  7. Today, the Notorious RBG turns 87. We honor her legacy and want her around much longer. If you want to protect her and all of our elders, stay at home as much as you can, and when you can’t, maintain strict handwashing and a 6-foot distance. Initial indications show you can spread COVID-19 even without having symptoms. Whether or not you consider yourself high risk, RBG is one of the many people we love in our community who unquestionably is. Do it for her!

  10. Happy 86th birthday to a woman who never stops fighting for what’s right, proving the haters wrong, and amazing us with her grit, tenacity, and grace. To many, many more years of “notoriety” ahead. 🙌👑🎉❤️🙏 (📷: Timothy Greenfield-Sanders)
