CertaPet wants you to join our 12 Days of Winter Challenge 2020. Not only does this include fun activities for you and your furry friend, but a photo contest as well! 

How to participate:

  1. Follow CertaPet's Instagram account and like all Winter Challenge posts. 
  2. Upload a daily pic of you and your furry friend doing our 12 day challenge with the hashtag #12daysofcertapet and tag @CertaPet.

We will randomly choose 3 winners who will receive an Amazon Gift Card! Each pic you send, the more times your name gets put into the drawing.

We can’t wait for all the cute and silly pics! 

Official Contest Rules

Who Can Enter

To be eligible to participate in this contest, entrants must be U.S. residents who are and existing users of Instagram.

How to Enter

Entry online, by Instagram:

1. No purchase is necessary to enter.  Only one daily entry allowed per account holder.

2. To enter, first, log on to Instagram to follow the CertaPet account and like all Winter Challenge posts. Then, upload a picture daily following the challenge calendar activities. To be eligible, the post should have the #12daysofcertapet hashtag and CertaPet account should be tagged. It’s not required to participate all 12 days of the challenge, but the more days pictures are submitted, the more times the participant’s name gets put into the drawing. Picture must show the account holder doing the day’s challenge with their pet. No mechanically reproduced or completed entries will be accepted.

3. By entering, entrants represent and warrant (i) that they own the picture submitted, and (ii) it does not violate the rights of any third parties.  No lewd, nude, crude, or offensive photographs (as determined by CertaPet in its sole and absolute discretion) will be accepted. CertaPet reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to disqualify any entry.

4. The contest starts on December 1st 2020 at 11:00 am EST and all entries must be uploaded on Instagram by 11:59 p.m. EST on December 14th, 2020. CertaPet is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries, server unavailability, mobile, computer, or any other electronic malfunction.

5. On December 16th, 2020 three (3) winners will be selected by random drawing from among valid entries. Remaining valid entries will not carry over to the next drawing.

The Prize(s)

Three (3) winners will be selected.  Winners will receive one of these (depending on order of random drawing):

  • 1st place: $400 Amazon gift card
  • 2nd place: $200 Amazon gift card
  • 3rd place: $100 Amazon gift card

1. Each winner will be notified on Instagram by private message as well as a public announcement. Before claiming the prize, the winner must provide his/her correct name, email address and telephone number to CertaPet at the time of notification. Prize will be sent to the provided email address.

2. If a winner does not reply to the notification private message within fourteen (14) days, then the prize will be forfeited, and the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner randomly selected from among remaining valid entries. 

3. There will be no substitutions or cash alternatives for any prize except at the sole discretion of CertaPet. CertaPet has the right to substitute a prize of similar value.  No transfer or assignment of prizes is allowed.

4. Each winner is responsible for paying all local, county, state and federal taxes on prizes based on the estimated retail value of the prizes as set forth in these rules.  

5. CertaPet is not liable if the provider of any part of the prize fails to satisfy its obligations to furnish its portion of the prize.

6. CertaPet is not responsible for any liability arising directly or indirectly from the award or use of the prize.

7. In claiming your prize, you acknowledge that CertaPet has the right to publicize your name, character, likeness, photograph, voice and the fact that you are the winner for promotional purposes without financial remuneration.

Odds of Winning/Miscellaneous

1. Odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received.

2. This contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.  CertaPet and INSTAGRAM accept no responsibility or liability in connection with any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by or resulting from the acceptance, possession or use of any prize awarded hereunder.

3. CertaPet cannot be held liable for any lost or stolen entries, prizes, or contest information.  CertaPet is not responsible for any computer or electronic malfunction, server unavailability, technological glitch, or human error relating to this contest and/or the use of short-code.

4. CertaPet reserves the right to make rules and contest changes and change the contest dates.

5. By entering this contest, each entrant waives any and all claims of liability against CertaPet, Instagram, and their respective parents, affiliates, officers, directors, employees and agents, for any and all claims, loss, damage or injury which may occur as a result of entrant’s participation in this contest.
