CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Protests are popping up across the nation to support the Democrats’ impeachment effort against President Donald Trump.

More than 600 “Nobody Is Above The Law” protests are expected to take place on Tuesday night, a day before the House of Representatives is set to vote on two articles of impeachment.

One such rally occurred in Cleveland’s Ohio City neighborhood at West 25th Street and Lorain Avenue.

Republicans have promised to quash the impeachment proceedings, if they reach the U.S. Senate.

The Democratic effort to remove Trump from office unfolded earlier this fall, after the president was accused of withholding military funding from Ukraine until the country launched an investigation against Trump’s political rival, Joe Biden, and his son. Hunter.
