Many find support, mentorship, and friendship from amazing non-profit organizations in the City that are best equipped to directly help get assistance where it makes the most difference. MISSION STATEMENT
Directions Youth Services is a division of Family Services of Greater Vancouver that provides support to at-risk, homeless, or street-involved youth under 25. Our resources are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We provide safe spaces for youth to connect with support, detox from substances, and access transitional to short-term housing.
MISSION STATEMENT
Aunt Leah’s Place helps prevent children in foster care from becoming homeless and mothers in need from losing custody of their children. To support them on their journey to self-sufficiency, we provide supported housing, job training, and coaching on essential life skills.

Our Transition to Independence Program 1 and 2, assists youth ages 16-24 to transfer into independence by removing homelessness, and providing support for mental health and substance misuse issues.

Threshold Housing Society is committed to creating a safe and stable home environment for our community’s most vulnerable and marginalized youth by providing programming, transitional housing, positive role models and constructive support that help youth navigate the challenges of school, work, and relationships. Threshold aims to steer youth away from adult homelessness by providing them with the supports necessary to be healthy, contributing members of our society.
