Cape Cod’s Collaborative Orchestra

Now in its sixth season, the Cape Cod Chamber Orchestra has presented dozens of concerts commissioned and premiered new compositions through our young composer residency, and been named “Best New Cultural Attraction” by Yankee Magazine. And we are just getting started.

The Cape Cod Chamber Orchestra is thrilled to announce our Merch Design Contest! We're on the lookout for talented individuals to craft captivating graphics for our merchandise. This is your chance to showcase your artistry with the CCCO community!

Design a striking graphic to be featured on the front of a standard hoodie, crewneck, or t-shirt. Let your imagination run wild! Whether you're inspired by the beauty of Cape Cod, the magic of our performances, or anything in between, we want to see your unique vision come to life.

Submit your design to be considered for production and the chance to have your creation worn by music lovers and community members of the CCCO.

Next Concert:

Celebrate contemporary and classic American music with works by some of the nation's most celebrated composers. The emotive landscapes of Samuel Barber, refreshing resonance of Oliver Caplan, and vibrant melodies of Valerie Coleman. Then, journey alongside Antonín Dvořák from his homeland to America as he pays homage to American culture in his "American" string quartet. Did we mention this program is all-American?

OUR MISSION

Cape Cod’s most dynamic orchestra is right here in your backyard. Known for our vivid and inspiring performances, the Cape Cod Chamber Orchestra has collaboration at the center of our mission, having worked with such organizations as Wild Care Cape Cod, the Whydah Pirate Museum, the Edward Gorey House, and the Heritage Museums & Gardens among others. We believe classical music on Cape Cod means embracing the culture and atmosphere that surrounds us, and promise you will leave each concert with a smile on your face.

In addition to performing music by the classical canon, the CCCO aims to perform music by traditionally under-represented composers, as well as American contemporary music. In 2020, the CCCO took home the 1st Prize in the American Prize Competition for Orchestral Performance and was recently named the "Best New Cultural Attraction" by Yankee Magazine.

The joyous reactions on the faces in the orchestra, the close interactions and response by both conductor and players evinced a synergy... The strings glowed with a beautiful warm sheen in every work, and when pressed, could also impress and excite. One got the impression of a family of young artists exploring what they can do together.
