Fredrik Kämpfe
Chairman

The vertical lift industry plays a vital role in our daily lives, often much more than we realise. From transporting people and goods, repairing critical infrastructure, fighting fires, and performing scientific duties. When you switch on your TV, use your cell phone, or utilise energy to power your home, a vertical lift operation has often been involved somewhere in the delivery of the service.

The emergence of new technologies such as electric, hydrogen and hybrid propulsion, and extended use of sustainable fuels, will shape the future of the vertical lift industry and make it even more attractive, accessible, and efficient, furthermore, safer and more sustainable.

EHA, as the voice of its members, is a key player in this process and fully dedicated to shape the regulatory and public environment for our community: rotorcraft and drone operators, manufacturers, service providers and suppliers and partner associations.

Safety, regulation, innovation, sustainability, and communication including data collection are important functions of EHA and we work together with our members to bring the needs and perspectives of the rotorcraft industry to the attention of regulators and lawmakers.

New members from the extended vertical lift industry are always welcome to join EHA to strengthen our community, increase collaboration, broaden our perspectives, and share ideas for the future. Together we are stronger.

Oliver Dismore
Technical & Safety Executive

“I am delighted to have been appointed to build on Christian Mueller’s achievements in the technical and safety fields.

With practical experience of regulation across different levels of complexity of operation, I can empathise with your issues and look forward to working with you in simplifying access, signposting relevant information and, above all, ensuring that proportionality is applied.

I see the key to success lying in effective communication, by whatever means, and it needs to be two-way for my activities to reflect what you, the members, want.

I look forward to engaging with you all in the coming months.”
