    The Nevada Department of Agriculture (NDA) requires all persons collecting or moving honey bee swarms or colonies within the Africanized Honey Bee Quarantine area (NAC 554.805) to have a permit to do so.  See map below.

    NAC 554.065 Feral honeybees: Permit required to collect or remove feral honeybee from quarantined area; renewal of permit; fees.

      Please download and complete the following Africanized Honey Bee Collection and Movement Application and return it with the fee $15 to the Nevada Department of Agriculture, 2300 East. St. Louis Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89104.

      Also, download the following 
      Africanized Honey Bee Risk Disclosure Statement that must be signed and submitted to NDA for each removal.

      After review/approval a permit card will be issued and sent to you.

      Please note that in addition to the permit, an inspection by NDA is required when moving bee out of the quarantine area.
