Former Lehigh women’s basketball standout Kayla Burton joined ESPN in August 2023 as a college football sideline reporter. Burton has several years under her belt as a host and reporter for both collegiate and professional sports.

She joined NFL Media in October 2021 and served a multi-platform role across NFL Network, NFL.com and the NFL app. Prior to her time at NFL Network, Burton served in a number of different roles with Western Mass News based in Springfield, Mass., such as sports/news anchor, reporter and content producer. She also presented Channel 5’s NFL coverage in the UK.

Burton graduated from Lehigh University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and a minor in Africana Studies. She currently resides in Los Angeles.
