Shot at Dawn

Visitors are advised that the Shot at Dawn Memorial will close to the public on Monday 6 May. The memorial will undergo restoration and will be closed for approximately six weeks whilst these works take place. Free Shot at Dawn Talks will continue to take place daily at 12.30pm and 1.30pm in the Millennium Chapel, please ask at the Welcome Desk for more information. Beth Belle

Miss Beth Belle is a vintage performer from the Midlands, and her huge passion for the 1940s shines through in every performance.

 

Her impressive vocal range allows her to effortlessly transition through the great singers of the era, including Vera Lynn, Gracie Fields, Ella Fitzgerald, The Andrews Sisters, Judy Garland and more.

The Heath Belles

The Heath Belles features voices from The Heath Chorus, an all female choir, who come together to entertain with their own nostalgic take on the close harmony singing style of decades gone by.

For Our Younger Visitors

 

Our younger visitors will enjoy taking part in free arts and crafts sessions, taking their creativity back to 1944 as they craft their own vintage inspired creations.

Alternatively, why not challenge the family to one of our vintage lawn games, available in the Ampitheatre throughout the weekend.

1944 - What's Your Connection

You'll be able to step back in time, and find out what life was like on the home front in this exhibition, which will open on the 4 May, in Gallery Two.
