Hey everyone! 

As you may know the corona virus has brought many changes and challenges to us in life. Everyone is being affected in many ways from losing their job, cancelled graduation,  and lost memories that would’ve been made. 

This is my last year in 4-H and i have been looking forward to trying to make this year the best year yet in 4-H. Unfortunately the coronavirus has others plan and a lot of the events Have been cancelled 

NC 4-H district horse show
All 4-H summer camps 
N.C. Horse Judging Contest (In-person) 
District Teen Retreats 
4-H presentations have all been moved online
I am sure more events are also going to be cancelled. I know many other senior 4-Hers feel the exact way I do. I feel like I had no closure and no chance to try and make lasting memories to take with me into my next chapter in life. I didn’t get to say goodbye to friends or experience the things I have grown to love the past 5 years. 

With that being said I want to try and make a change to give seniors a second chance at making these memories happen. So I started this petition on Change.org that states a proposition that aging out 4-hers are able to come back in 2021 to attend or compete in events that were cancelled due to Covid-19. 

If you are an aging out 4-her I would love for you to send me your favorite picture in 4-H and a statement on an event you were most looking forward to.
