At a time when Jim Crow-like voter suppression is spreading around the country and the Supreme Court is weakening federal voter protections, a strong Voting Rights Act in New Jersey will protect the fundamental right to vote, especially for Black and other voters of color who are more likely to experience voter suppression and discrimination at the polls.
