Newly launched and designed for young string players, New York Youth Symphony Crescendo comes to Zankel Hall. Led by Music Director Tanatchaya (Tanya) Chanphanitpornkit, this free program gives budding New York City musicians an opportunity to expand their musical education. Students study and prepare music by composers from historically underrepresented communities, including women, members of the LGBTQIA community, and people of color. The program features works by Saint-Georges, Handel, J.S. Bach, Price, and Vaughan Williams.
