James A Lyons was born in Oxford, England and is a writer of young adult LGBTQ+ fiction. He released his latest novel 'The Paper Boy' in September 2022.

Previously he released Doorway 54 in August 2018 and Blinded by Nostalgia, a collection of the short stories, in April 2020.

Outside of writing, James is a keen runner and holds down an administrative day job. He now resides in Bournemouth. He has a passion for equality and the rights of those in the LGBTQ+ community. He also supports Oxford United FC.

I've seen a lot of reviews that feel the ending was a let down, however I think the complete opposite. My only gripe was the overuse of Harry potter references. Overall enjoyed reading it, and will try out the sequel too. ...more
