Blackwell Grp continues the legacy of Blackwell Engineering. We’ve worked on iconic monuments like the Eternal Flame at John F. Kennedy’s grave, the Vietnam Memorial, the U.S. Capitol, and the World War II Memorial. We’ve also contributed to the expansion of Dulles International and Reagan National Airports. It’s an engineering legacy that has helped tell the nation’s story without compromising the environmental values of our Native American heritage.
We’re proud of our innovative history and the problem solving ethos it fuels. That’s why our engineers hold numerous patents in structural, geotechnical, and civil engineering. It’s also why we’re the first Virginia-based engineering firm to receive FAA certification for drone usage in topography mapping and real-time activities.

GeoSLAM enables our engineers to capture highly accurate and detailed 3D scans of complex environments quickly and easily. We then scan and pull this data into CAD, allowing for precise modeling and analysis of engineering projects.
