BEGINNING MAY 16 IN THE ISC STUDIO
HAPPY DAYS
by Samuel Beckett
Starring Monica Horan
A collaboration with Níl Dabht Productions.
May 16 - June 8
Samuel Beckett’s groundbreaking play is as fresh today as when it debuted in 1961. Stranded in a mysterious landscape, the ineffable Winnie and her taciturn husband, Willie, navigate a progressively more unrecognizable world. Anchored by Monica Horan’s tour-de-force performance as Winnie, this production brings to vivid life the humor, despair, and unexpected grace of Beckett’s transcendent work.
This production has been selected as part of the 9th Annual Conference of the Samuel Beckett Society: Beckett and Justice hosted by the College of Arts and Letters at Cal State LA in partnership with UCLA. For more information on the conference, go to www.beckettandjustice.com
With Monica Horan and Tim Durkin. Director: Melissa Chalsma. Stage Manager: Jenny Jihee Park
