From CPA to Salesman
Out of college Tony became a Certified Public Accountant, CPA working for a large international accounting firm. He worked his way up the corporate ladder serving as a controller and VP of Finance before he became self-employed as an ERP Solution Architect.
Tony was increasingly exposed to Salesforce.com with customers wishing to integrate ERP and CRM. He discovered that Salesforce was an open platform toolset that can be molded to the clients’ business process for sales and operations. He fell in love with the idea of adapting the open mindset to the back-office. He envisioned an accounting solution that can grow with your company and accommodate your specific needs.
This vision became Accounting Seed.
In 2008, Tony started Accounting Seed, creating a robust accounting system built on top of Salesforce.com with the same flexible, fast, and efficient functionality as the core platform.
By 2021, Accounting Seed had made the Inc 5000 and grew to over 1,000 customers and 15,000 users and 50 employees with no outside capital. It was an insane success. Tony decided he was ready for his next challenge so he sold Accounting Seed to a private equity firm to pursue a mission as a political activist.
A Failed Presidential Run
Shortly before selling his company in 2021 Tony made a decision to run for President of the United States as an Independent in 2024. Knowing his chances of winning were small, not being a celebrity or billionaire, he thought it would be a good way to kick start a movement as a political activist to amend the US Constitution for Term Limits, Campaign Finance, Political Party Regulation and Rating the Political Media. Tony calls this movement “An Upgrade”.
He became a singer/songwriter and screenwriter bringing a unique approach to his platform with music and film. He launched his campaign on November 9, 2022 and after six months it was obvious to Tony that his approach was not working.
The political media was not interested in interviewing him unless he was supporting their predetermined narratives. Citizens and donors would not even take interest in his platform.
He got the same response from everyone, which was: “I’m not interested in your platform, because you’re not going to win. So all I want to know is if your more left or right and who you are going take votes away from.”
He ended his campaign on May 15, 2023 to form a new plan to launch an Upgrade for the Country.
A New Approach to Politics
Through his experience running as a Presidential Candidate Tony came to the realization that our nation’s problems are as much cultural as they are policy driven. Even if we have great policy, at some point it renders itself ineffective if there is not a commitment to a common set of cultural principles from the members of that organization. This is true no matter the size of any entity. The United States of America is a massive organization. Until the citizens form some sort of political cultural unity, nothing is going to change, especially not a needed Upgrade.
In October of 2023 Tony launched “Congressman Curly” a nonprofit (501c3) entertainment company with a social mission to end our cultural political divide through the use of music, comedy, and film. Tony is the Executive Director of Congressman Curly.
Tony is a comedy writer in addition to singer/songwriter and performs his own material. In the Congressman Curly Story Tony plays the role of the Executive Director of Upgrade My Country, a fictitious movement, among a few other roles.
As an active member of YPO, or Young President’s Organization, Tony is driven by the belief that the world needs better leaders. The YPO is a global leadership community of more than 29,000 chief executives in 130 countries.

On August 12, 2020, Inc. magazine revealed that Accounting Seed made the annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.
