Feeling a bit lonely or looking for ways to get connected with friends and family? Trying to remain at home independently but in need of some basic supportive devices? NCAAA’s…
The SCAN Cohort has been a lifeline to the future for Nutmeg Senior Rides. We were devastated by Covid and hung on as best we could, losing 100% of our volunteers and reducing staff drivers. The SCAN Cohort has given us new life with the structure for building a Strategic Plan that can help us grow for the next three years
My cohort experience was awesome! The knowledge that I received will definitely make an impact on how our non-profit will succeed. Being taught many different skill sets was a plus for me, showing us how to navigate our way through some of the challenges we face.
NCAAA provides aging resources to 20,000 – 35,000 clients annually, and we are recognized as an agency that delivers strong programs with limited resources and that effectively partners with others in the Aging Network.
As a designated Area Agency on Aging, according to the Older Americans Act of 1965, NCAAA is a funding source for federal and state dollars for the elderly in the 38 town region of North Central Connecticut. We are one of five Area Agencies on Aging in the state and we have come together to form AgingCT; Five Agencies, One Vision. Visit us here at AgingCT.org
