Immigration

This illustration is a reminder that Lindsey Graham, who once enjoyed respect and an ability to work both sides of the aisle is in the pocket of Donald Trump. He once worked on high profile causes like immigration reform, but his actions show a loss of moral compass on social justice. Equality, diversity and humanity are cherished values and perhaps he has forgotten his long friendship with Senator John McCain?  Changing sides with the political wind tells me that the interest of his constituents is no longer in his heart.

Learn the Facts About Trump and Republicans Locking Immigrant Kids in Cages

Under Donald Trump’s watch, Customs and Border Patrol tried to hide the grim reality of locking up kids in cages for months from lawyers, legislators, and other visitors. Trump’s GOP allies, including Senator Lindsey Graham didn’t care. Trump’s politics of hate are  driving an inhumane racist wedge through our country.

Graham has acknowledged racism as a political tactic, saying any “refugee wearing a MAGA hat… could probably have dinner at the White House,”  because people of color are just photo ops to him. Graham is complacent and part of the problem… And he doesn’t care!

“I don’t care.” – Lindsey Graham
