AICPA Foundation CPA Exam Scholarship Hide Details Apply AICPA Foundation This scholarship was created to assist current students and graduates who are CPA candidates with some of the costs associated with taking the CPA Exam. 75 extraordinary applicants will be paid up to $1,000 in a lump sum to reimburse and assist with expenses for exam fees and CPA exam preparatory courses. Applicants must provide a copy of their Notice to Schedule (NTS) for at least one section of the CPA Exam and a copy of the receipt for payment of exam application fees. For reimbursement of CPA Exam preparatory courses/materials, applicants must provide proof of purchase with their application. Some recipients may be awarded less than the full amount of this scholarship. This scholarship does not intend to reimburse tuition expenses and may be taxable by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. Atlanta Alliance of Black Accountants Scholarship Hide Details Apply Atlanta Alliance of Black Accountants The Atlanta Alliance of Black Accountants (AABA) provides scholarships to undergraduate and graduate minority students majoring in accounting, finance, and business who have demonstrated academic and leadership excellence. Scholarships ranging from $500 up to $5,000 per recipient are awarded annually to deserving students. A student must have at least one semester left in school in order to qualify for the scholarship. Scholarships will be presented at the Atlanta Alliance of Black Accountants Awards Celebration held in September. The actual cash awards will be issued upon receipt of proof of enrollment for the period covered by the award. Scholarship recipients MUST attend the Atlanta Alliance of Black Accountants Eddie Nesby Jr. Scholarship and Awards Celebration (“Atlanta Alliance of Black Accountants Awards Celebration”) and will be notified in advance regarding seating and guests. Awards are made for the following academic year. Applicants in 2023 should be pursuing Atlanta Alliance of Black Accountants scholarships for the 2023 – 2024 school year. Awards will be made payable to the recipient. It is your responsibility to ensure that your financial aid office and registrar have enough time (usually three to four weeks) to get the required items to you or AABA. An eligible applicant must: Be an ethnic minority enrolled in an undergraduate Accounting, Finance or related business degree program or a Master’s level business program.
