The policy applies to Virginia Tech faculty, staff, students, and third-party operators flying on university-owned property or operating university-owned aircraft. Part 107 grants

Undergraduate students who pass the FAA exam to earn their Remote Pilot Certificate can apply to have the test fee reimbursed through a Drone Park grant program.
