In an uplifting demonstration of sportsmanship, following Buffalo Bills kicker Tyler Bass' missed game-tying kick against the Kansas City Chiefs, he decided to take a break from social media. However, what happened next was truly remarkable as fans from both the Bills and Chiefs put aside their rivalry and came together to show their support. They generously donated a staggering amount of over $180,000 to Tyler Bass's charity, the Ten Lives Cat Rescue, a local cat adoption center. 🐾🏈 This heartwarming gesture has not only touched the hearts of #sports enthusiasts but has also inspired companies like Merck Animal Health's livestock division. We are deeply moved by the kindness and unity displayed within the sports community. In order to contribute to this incredible cause and spread the wave of positivity, we’re thrilled to announce that the Merck Animal Health's livestock division will be donating $20,000 worth of ByoPlanet support bundles to the rescue! As part of our ByoPlanet #PawsitiveChange shelter support program, which has already donated to hundreds of #animalshelters and rescues nationwide, their donation will consist of the Byoplanet electrostatic sprayer and disinfectant support bundle, along with their Armatrex antimicrobial product. These state-of-the-art tools will aid the Ten Lives Club in maintaining a clean and safe environment for the #cats in their care. We firmly believe in the power of community and are hopeful that our contribution will further enhance the exceptional work they do for our beloved feline friends. Our mission is to see that all shelter animals find their forever home! If you would like to support our mission and nominate a shelter to receive our support bundle donation, please let us know in the comments below or DM. Just tell us the shelter name and location! #animalhealth #cat #dog

The National FFA helped set me up on a path for success at a young age and engrained in me that leadership skills must be cultivated and continuously refined. It taught me that to me a good leader, you must also be a good learner. Throughout my decades in this industry, I’ve learned that animal health is much more than what meets the eye. Those of us at Merck Animal Health consider National FFA a likeminded partner in its mission to promote the expansiveness of animal health. I recently had the pleasure of accompanying National FFA Officers on a visit to Pagel’s Ponderosa Dairy. Click below to learn about our experience.
