Building peace in the minds of women and men
About us
UNESCO - the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) was founded on 16 November 1945. For this specialized United Nations agency, it is not enough to build classrooms in devastated countries or to publish scientific breakthroughs. Education, Social and Natural Science, Culture and Communication are the means to a far more ambitious goal : to build peace in the minds of women and men.

In a world that thrives on diversity, let's create a future where every voice is heard. On this International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, and everyday, everybody can help put an end to all forms of homophobic and transphobic violence and discrimination. Join us in spreading acceptance and respect. Let's break down barriers, uplift one another, and build a society where compassion and empathy prevail. It starts with each and everyone of us, in our neighborhood, in our families, all around us. We can all make a difference and inspire a world where equality shines brightly for all. The more we share, the more we thrive. More on this: https://bit.ly/3V32Qae #StandUp4HumanRights #SharingHumanity
