AMC Networks’ popular streamer Sundance Now has been announced as the exclusive U.S. home for Dancing Ledge Productions' critically acclaimed drama series, Domino Day. 🪄 Shirley Bowers, SVP of U.S. Distribution, Fremantle, said: “Sundance Now is the perfect platform for a premium scripted series like Domino Day. It’s such a big, bold modern series which sees witches caught up in an all-too human drama that’s enthralling from the opening minute. We’re sure it will be another huge hit in the U.S. for one of our hottest English language dramas of the year.” Following its successful UK launch on BBC Three earlier this year, #DominoDay will premiere in the U.S. this summer on Sundance Now and AMC+. Sony Pictures Entertainment International Productions and WILDSIDE SRL, a Fremantle Company, have struck a new multi-picture co-production deal to develop and produce local films in Italy. 🎞 “I am very honoured that my first Wildside production was born from an important collaboration with Shebnem Askin and the SPIP team, a large international group with a strong local strategy, which invests in our industry and our best talent to create quality content and great entertainment. I consider it a sign of great trust and appreciation and I hope this will be the beginning of a long and fruitful collaboration.” - Sonia Rovai, CEO, WILDSIDE SRL. The first project in the deal is Upside Down Family, a new comedy from director Alessandro Genovesi (When Mom is Away, 7 Women and a Murder) based on the feel-good motion picture, Le Sens de la Famille.
