I performed various roles at the University YMCA starting as a tutor in the Greater Minneapolis area and moving up to a student board member. We held various fundraisers such as Fall and Spring clean-up, Greg Coleman Golf Tournament, and PeaceJam. Our mission as students was to engage University students in community involvement and service work while providing excellent leadership training. (some work was part of student "work-study" program).

  • This Modern Love

This is my first written publication and I am very proud of its depth and personal nature. I have found that writing about my illness as well as the struggles of veterans can sometimes cause backlash or fear and stigmatization.
Still, I am choosing to post this to my professional profile, because I do feel that my passion, sincerity, heart and conviction truly give me my literary talent.
We should all document and reflect on the truth regardless of how it is seen.
