Welcome to the 2025 Farm Bureau® Ag Innovation Challenge (sometimes referred to herein as “The Challenge”), administered by the American Farm Bureau Federation (“AFBF”), in partnership with Farm Credit. 

Your entry into the 2025 Farm Bureau® Ag Innovation Challenge is deemed acceptance of these Terms & Conditions by each individual currently involved with the business represented (each or together, an “Applicant”). In the event that a winner of any prize level fails to satisfy any of the eligibility requirements and/or the Terms & Conditions, that prize winner shall not be entitled to the prize and the prize may be awarded to another eligible entrant, or the prize may not be awarded, at AFBF’s sole discretion. 


To apply for the 2025 Farm Bureau Ag Innovation Challenge, please complete and submit the application form  by June 15th, 2024 at 11:59 pm EDT.  Late entries will not be accepted. No exceptions. 

Welcome to the 2025 Farm Dog of the Year® contest. American Farm Bureau® and Nestle Purina PetCare Company are looking for the best farm dog in the country! Desired attributes in the Farm Bureau Farm Dog of the Year® include helpfulness to the farmer and his/her family, playfulness and obedience.   


The grand prize winner – Farm Bureau Farm Dog of the Year – will win a year’s worth of Purina Pro Plan dry dog food and $5,000 in prize money. The winner will be recognized at a Farm Dog of the Year award ceremony at the AFBF Convention in January 2025. A People's Choice Pup winner, chosen by public vote, will win $2,500 in prize money and be recognized at the AFBF Convention in January 2025.
 

To apply for the 2025 Farm Dog of the Year contest, complete the nomination form below. Entries will close on July 12, 2024, at 10:59 pm CST.
 

Be prepared to provide written responses to the questions below about your farm dog:
 

 · Describe the primary way your farm dog supports you, the farmer, in doing your job. Examples could include but are not limited to: rounding up livestock, chasing off predators, opening gates, fetching or carrying tools/buckets, greeting visitors and predator control.

· Are there additional farm or ranch tasks your dog performs or is involved in?

· On a personal level, how does your dog enrich your life and that of your family? 

· What non-farm-work activities do you and your dog do together for recreation?

· Describe your commitment to responsible dog ownership (safety practices, current vaccinations, proper nutrition and care, etc.).

· List awards your dog has received, special skills your dog has, or tricks he/she can perform.

In addition, we strongly encourage submission of at least one photo of the nominated dog for consideration (a picture is worth 1,000 words). Submission of a video clip is also optional, but highly encouraged.
