The Above and Beyond Foundation recognizes, rewards, and supports outstanding individuals employed on the front lines of the hospitality industry by providing awards and grants to help them attain their personal and professional goals.

OUR VISION

Create awareness and foster advocacy embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the hospitality industry by recognizing the importance of front- line workers and their impact on the success of the industry through our portfolio of awards and grant initiatives.

The Heart of Hospitality Award is The Above and Beyond Foundation’s highest honor.

The $10,000 Heart of Hospitality award is granted to dedicated, hospitality career-driven front-line workers who consistently go “above and beyond” in their job, demonstrate our core values, are committed to their career, and embody the heart of hospitality.

The $5,000 Heroes of Hospitality award winners are the front-line workers that demonstrate our core values and embody the heart of hospitality through an extraordinary single act of service and/or consistent job performance that is truly “above and beyond”.

The Helping Hospitality Grant initiative was launched in 2020 and distributed over (1000) $500 urgent aid grants to laid off workers due to Covid-19. The Helping Hospitality Grant initiative has been discontinued as the Hospitality Industry recovers and workers are re-employed.
