The What's Next Innovation Challenge, sponsored by AARP Innovation Labs and produced by Mary Furlong & Associates, has announced its 2020 Challenge: How can new, disruptive solutions drive adoption and usage of hearing aids by the millions of hearing impaired in the United States?
One in three Americans, ages 65 to 74, have hearing loss and half of those over age 75 have difficulty hearing, according to the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders.
Startup companies with less than $500,000 in annual revenue or a maximum of $5 million in investor funding are eligible to compete. Finalists will be notified by March 8, 2020 and must be available to present at the What's Next Longevity Business Summit on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. AARP members, event attendees and a panel of judges will select the winning team who will participate later this year in the national competition in Washington, D.C. for a $5,000 award and AARP Innovation Labs partnership.
To register your entry, please complete this form by March 1, 2020, 11:59 p.m. PST.
