About our chamber

Founded in 1994, the Capital City Chamber has evolved into an active participant in the area’s economic development process.

Throughout the Capital City Chamber's (CCC) history, we have developed and maintained strong relationship with public and private agencies, CCC has the ability to identify profitable procurement opportunities. Board members bring a number of varied and diversified years of work experience from several major markets and participate in opportunities not only regionally but nationally.

The Capital City Chamber is the “go-to” organization for business development and community outreach partnership/advocacy opportunities in the community.  The Capital City Chamber is dedicated to supporting underserved small businesses in the areas of education, certification and accessing contracting opportunities and capital.

Partnering with the Capital City Chamber is synonymous with having access to potential new customers, quality small business resources and demonstrates a care for doing business with the community.

The organization is a 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(6) not-for-profit private, member driven organization that serves the North Florida area.

Business Empowerment

The Capital City Chamber Business Empowerment Department promotes the empowerment and continuing education of entrepreneurs and small business leaders. Some of the programs we offer include our Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) targeted to minority business owners seeking knowledge in beginning or strengthening the foundation of their business; and our Business Tax Clinic which provides education, access to tax experts and tax preparation services to further improve the financial and tax efforts of minority-, and veteran-owned small businesses..

Business Assistance

The CCC Technical Assistance Program (TAP) provides hands-on help for developing and writing strong business plans, proposals, grants, fellowships and more. The workshops that we sponsor provide information on topics such as financial planning, sales & marketing development strategies, and insurance requirements, and other topics as well. We are committed to helping grow and support your business.

Business To Business (B2B) Referrals

Inquiries directed to the CCC for products and services are referred only to members within the organization. This provides your company the opportunity to increase its exposure, gain information, and successfully develop within and outside the CCC.

Business Development Faith Council

Promoting the common economic interests of all faith businesses/organizations in our community as one inclusive voice. CCC recognizes that the faith-based economy is a major economic driver in all communities. Our goal is to add value for faith-based business organizations, by providing training opportunities, matching resources with community needs, and connecting strategic relationships.

Business Finance Connect

The CCC is connecting our commercial lenders with TLH's local small businesses community for funding opportunities. The workshop series will bridge the local financial resources to the needs of our small businesses.  The second objective is to educate startups, investors, and all entrepreneurs on the best lending practices.

Advantage Conference Tallahassee

The Capital City Chamber Conference is focused on harnessing the talents, tools and opportunities of an inclusive business community for everyone’s advantage. Featuring keynotes, along with other informative speakers and workshops, join our 2 day event to ignite TLH as a place where EVERY BUSINESS (micro, small, minority, women-owned, and institutions) connects, evolves, and gains The Advantage!#AdvantageTallahassee

Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP)

Capital City Chamber of Commerce's Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) encourages, educates, and coaches current and aspiring Chamber members to take action in managing their businesses. The EDP recurring workshops will positively assist in influencing the business growth and professional development of business leaders in Tallahassee.

• Small Businesses (revenue sales below $1 million): $250

• Mid-size Businesses (revenue sales above $1 million): $450
