Most women in an unplanned pregnancy who are given a glimpse of the life within them choose life.

However, this is only possible when women can go to a pregnancy center with an ultrasound machine. Sonogram machines are expensive, costing tens of thousands of dollars. Many pregnancy resource centers operate on a tight budget and the Psalm 139 Project is pleased to partner with these centers to provide equipment or cover expenses for training medical staff to receive the certification to perform ultrasound scans.

About Psalm 139 Project + ERLC

The Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention is dedicated to protecting life in all stages of development, especially those in the womb. The Psalm 139 Project is an initiative designed to make people aware of the life-saving potential of ultrasound technology in unplanned pregnancy situations and to help pregnancy centers minister to abortion-vulnerable women by providing ultrasound equipment for them to use. This project provides a way for motivated individuals to assist financially in the placement of ultrasound machines in qualified pregnancy care centers. Simply put, it’s all about saving lives.
