This past August, I received a generous opportunity from the IRT over on Christopher Street in the West Village to spend a month developing a new piece of theater. This was a very unique opportunity, given the current state of theater spaces… So the task was so spend the month of September working, once again, in the space. I assembled an amazing team of collaborators and neighbours: John Robert Hurley, Haruna Lee and Paul Lieber.
This residency comes with many firsts: the first time I shared my own writing, the first time I performed solo, and the first time I created a piece of original theater in the midst of a global pandemic!
