The Academic Hub at Geo Week offers a unique opportunity to tap into the wealth of knowledge and expertise fostered at leading universities. Presented and organized by ASPRS, the Academic Hub is where it all comes together, with formal presentations, academic posters, and more!

Academic Presentations

Take a seat in the Academic Hub and hear about the latest geospatial research projects and discoveries in presentations delivered by students and professors. Taking place from 11:00am -12:30pm and 2:00pm – 3:30pm on Monday February 12 and Tuesday February 13 in the Mile High Ballroom, these sessions include:

Research Posters

More than 20 research posters will be on display during Geo Week in the Academic Hub, located in the Mile High Ballroom, with designated times from 10:00am – 10:30am on Monday February 12 and Tuesday February 13 where you can meet with students and academics to learn about their research. What else will be available for Students at Geo Week?

Geo Week is exploring holding a 90-minute career development meet and greet on Monday, February 12 where students can meet with select exhibitors to learn about the companies and job opportunities. Check back in December for more information!

How much does it cost to attend Geo Week, and how can I sign up?

  • A pass that includes the Academic Hub and Exhibit Hall is FREE for students, and includes full Academic Hub access, Exhibit Hall Access, Exhibit Hall Theater Presentations, Produce Previews, the Geo Week Awards Celebration, and Networking Events. Use code HUB2024 when registering to secure this free pass.
  • A pass that includes full Geo Week Conference Access is $400 for students. It includes the items in the Academic Hub/Exhibit Hall pass, plus admission to all Geo Week and ASPRS Conference sessions, and lunch vouchers for all three days of the event.

Note: Only full-time undergraduate or graduate students qualify for the free Student Exhibit Hall Only Pass or the Student Conference Pass Rate. Please be prepared to show proof that you are a full time undergraduate or graduate student upon badge pick up. The following are acceptable credentials: an unofficial transcript showing enrollment through the Fall of 2023 or student ID indicating 2023.
