MEMPHIS, Tenn. - April 21, 2020 - For the first time in its 83-year history, Ducks Unlimited (DU) is now offering event merchandise online. In response to Covid-19 social gathering restrictions, Ducks Unlimited is allowing supporters the opportunity to bid on exclusive merchandise, collectable firearms and excursions online from the comfort of their homes.

In total, 43 state-specific online auction sites were launched on April 7 and plans are to hold weekly campaigns into early May. This unprecedented offering would not have been possible without the generous underwriting support of First National Bank of Omaha, providers of the Ducks Unlimited Rewards Visa Card.

"The response to this point has been fantastic," said David Schuessler, DU's national director of event fundraising. "Given this is the first time we've ever offered current-year items outside a physical event setting, we really didn't know what to expect. Results so far have proved, however, that there is still a strong desire to support DU's ongoing conservation efforts, even in these trying times.

To access an auction, visit www.ducks.org, click the "my state" link, choose your state and click on the auction banner.

All prices within the online auctions include the cost of shipping. Purchased items will be shipped from DU's National Headquarters in Memphis, Tenn., once local shelter-in-place orders are lifted. All local, state and federal laws apply to firearm purchases.
