RSLC Launches Football-Themed Ads in Seven Battleground States

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Football season is officially back and the Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) is celebrating its return by going helmet to helmet against President Biden’s state Democrat allies in seven battleground states. The committee today is launching a new round of hard-hitting football-themed ads in Colorado, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, and Pennsylvania exposing Democrat state legislative candidates for following the President’s radical liberal playbook: higher taxes.

The ads display how Democrats have made the recession and record inflation facing their constituents all the more painful by voting to either hike taxes or against Republican proposed tax relief at the state level.

RSLC President Dee Duncan said of the new ads, “The choice for voters when it comes to state legislative races this November is simple: Republicans will tackle inflation by getting spending under control and putting more money into the pockets of their constituents through tax cuts, while Democrats are in lockstep with Joe Biden’s radical policies that fumbled away our thriving economy.”

All the states where the ads will run are targets for the RSLC in 2022. Colorado, Maine, Minnesota, and Nevada are designated as states where the committee has opportunities to flip chambers, while Michigan, New Hampshire, and Pennsylvania are states where the RSLC is investing to hold Republican majorities.
