RSLC PAC Releases Another Round Of Digital Ads in House of Delegates Races

Spots Call on Voters to Stop Virginia House Democrats from Pursuing Agenda of DC Liberals

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Republican State Leadership Committee PAC is continuing its paid media efforts in Virginia’s House of Delegates races today by releasing a new round of digital ads. The eight 15-second spots all emphasize how Virginia House Democrats have pushed a radical liberal agenda and cannot be trusted to stand up to the harmful policies of Washington liberals.

“Virginia House Democrats have broken the promises they made in 2019 in order to pursue the agenda of Democrat-controlled Washington, sending the cost of living for Virginians sky-rocketing, making them less safe, and leaving them voiceless in their kids' education in the process,” said RSLC Communications Director Andrew Romeo. “Virginians want delegates who will stand up to Washington’s far-left and will hold these delegates accountable on Election Day.”

The new ads come as a Monmouth University poll released today shows the statewide generic ballot for the House of Delegates deadlocked at 46% to 46%, a notable shift since its August survey that had shown Republicans trailing by three points. The ads, which feature Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Nancy Pelosi, underscore Politico’s reporting today that,

  • “When Virginia voters cast their ballots in two weeks, they’re not just weighing in on a closely watched governor’s election — one that’s been hyped as a bellwether ahead of the 2022 midterms and a judgement on President Joe Biden. They’re also deciding whether to keep legislative Democrats in office, a choice that will determine how much statewide power the party will yield and reveal voters’ satisfaction with the crush of progressive laws enacted in the last two years.”

The RSLC PAC since June has been holding vulnerable Virginia House Democrats accountable for putting the interests of the far-left in Washington above the needs of Virginia families. Some RSLC PAC’s paid media campaigns in Virginia have been:

  • A digital ad campaign launched in June and continued in July

  • A television ad campaign launched in August

  • A television ad campaign tying Alex Askew (HD-85) to President Biden in September

  • A new digital ad campaign launched on October 6
