Order Amending the Order of the Secretary of the

Pennsylvania Department of Health Directing Individuals


to Stay at Home

On this day, March 25, 2020, I hereby amend my Order dated March 23, 2020, as
amended March 24, 2020, directing individuals in specified counties to “Stay at Home.”

The first sentence of that amended Order is further amended to read:

To protect the public from the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), it is necessary


that all individuals residing in the counties of Allegheny, Bucks, Chester, Delaware,
Erie, Lehigh, Monroe, Montgomery, Northampton, and Philadelphia to stay at
home or at their place of residence except as needed to access, support or provide
life-sustaining business, emergency or government services.

The first sentence following the sentence in the first paragraph that states
“Therefore, on this day, March 23, 2020, under the authority granted to me by law, I hereby
order,” is amended to read:

All individuals residing in Allegheny County, Bucks County, Chester County,


Delaware County, Erie County, Lehigh County, Monroe County, Montgomery
County, Northampton County, and Philadelphia County to stay at home except as
needed to access, support or provide life-sustaining business, emergency or
government services.

Following the sentence that reads, “Enforcement of this Order will commence at
8:00 PM on Monday, March 23, 2020,” the following sentence is added:

Except that enforcement of this Order with respect to Lehigh and Northampton
counties will commence at 8:00 PM on March 25, 2020.

The Order remains unchanged in every other respect.
