Joining the renewables division, first as an intern and now full time, is an invitation to a tight-knit group of professionals with a wealth of experience. My internship was very self-directed, and I had the agency to focus on personal areas of interest. After making the transition to full time, I feel valued as an essential member of the team and have been given the freedom to continue to learn about different scopes of work. I was looking for a career change, and with no knowledge about the Construction Industry and Project Management, joining the Rosendin 2022 Summer Internship Program was a blessing in disguise. When offered to come on full-time, there was no hesitation in accepting the offer. New to the industry, I was faced with moments of imposter syndrome. Same way as the military, we were people from all different demographics and all around the country coming together for the same purpose of serving your country and defending the nation at a moment’s notice, if we need to.
