YouTuber-turned-rapper DDG has slowly but surely worked his way to the top of his game.
With each passing year he continues to level up his status, bringing along high-profile features and consistently dropping quality music of his own. His latest single comes complete with a verse from 2022’s secret weapon, Gunna.

On “Elon Musk,” the Michigan-born, LA-based rapper makes the most of his YSL collaboration, choosing smooth instrumental for the duo to coast on. DDG and Gunna pay homage to the Tesla CEO as they float over bumping 808s and a tropical guitar sample.
DDG quietly foreshadowed this collaboration three weeks ago with his “pushin P” freestyle, dropping luxurious bars over the eerie instrumental.
Gunna has not only had an impressive year, but continues to exude an “all gas no brakes” mentality. Dropping stellar collaborations all around, his addition on Yeat’s highly-anticipated album 2 Alivë saw him bring his secret sauce on its standout track “Rackz Got Më.”
Coming correct with his first single of the year, DDG is getting ready to follow up his 2021 release, Die 4 Respect. As his music continually improves, we will be keeping up with DDG on his journey to stardom.
