Fire Department

The Loudon Fire Department provides Fire & Emergency Medical Services to the Town of Loudon and neighboring communities upon request for mutual aid. Station #1 is located at 8 Cooper Street and is typically staffed from 08:00 am until 4:00 pm Monday through Friday for regular business. There are  two on duty emergency responders 24/7 which may also be located at Station #2 located at 56 Clough Hill during non-normal business hours.

Fire Permits are required for any outdoor burning unless the ground is totally snow covered and no vegetation is visible. To obtain a fire permit please visit station 1 during normal business hours. Not all personnel are authorized by the NH Division of Forests & Lands to write fire permits. In the event there is not an authorized issuing agent at the station you may purchase an online permit by following the "Fire Permit Information" tab on the upper left hand corner of this screen.

In the Event of an EMERGENCY please call 911......This is the quickest most efficient way to get help. Please do not call the station as there is not always someone there to answer the phone and we have no way of finding you if you cannot speak or relay your location.
