About Tilly's Life Center
Today's teens are in crisis. Every day they are faced with challenges like depression, suicide, anxiety, substance abuse and school violence, among many others. We're here to change that. Tilly's Life Center (TLC) is a youth-focused, 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable foundation aimed at empowering all teens with a positive mindset and enabling them to effectively cope with crisis, adversity and tough decisions.
At TLC, we give young people the tools they need to overcome these challenges and believe in themselves through our engaging curriculum, supportive instruction, and personal attention. TLC facilitators aim to guide and mentor adolescents to improve emotional competence, self-regulation, and social-emotional skills. Our proactive approach uses experiential learning, journal writing, open discussions, and other activities to guide teens in effectively coping with crisis, adopting healthy habits and finding purpose.
